My name is Jessica and I am a graduate from the university of Chichester. Although I have loved every minute of my English and creative writing course , sitting around and being wistfully romantic wasn’t for me. Luckily the opportunity arose for me to join the Hope Vets team, which of course I jumped at.
I’ve always been passionate about animals. My childhood was more like a scene from the ‘Darling Buds of May’ , If in reality Ma Larkin was my Mother and the farm animals were a swarm of 22 guinea pigs. Over the years we have looked after a whole menagerie of different species, a large proportion of that time has been dedicated to my horses as their personal butler or tending to hit and run pigeons that my mother has rescued.
However I have one true love and that is my whippet Beau , because he is the best dog in the whole wide world, not because he’s particularly well trained (or thin) but because he can morph from dog to hot water bottle! Although I am lucky enough to be bestowed with the worlds most wonderful pet, I love spending time getting to know yours and I have already heard so many amazing stories. Witnessing the passion and dedication given to each individual here at Hope Vets has made working here such an amazing experience, I am blessed to work with a team of people that have made my time here so much fun.
